MLK Pageant

The 30th Annual Martin Luther King Pageant was held recently at the Edcuational Cultural Complex. It was a great event that showcased singing, dancing, monologs, piano playing, as well as extraordinary closing essay speeches. Our 2009 King and Queen, Sammie Ely and T'Keyah Murrell-Spencer passed their crowns to the new 2010 King and Queen, Michael Steen II and Harlyn Maleeka Ann Cooper. The brothers are to be thanked for all their support; the pageant could not have been done without it.
