Join us at Petco Park on Saturday, January 19th at 10:00 a.m. for the 28th
Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade. This is one of the largest
celebrations of its kind in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the
United States. Our parade is filled with dazzling floats, soulful High
School Bands, Drill Teams, Colleges, Fraternities, Churches, Organizations,
Peace and Youth groups.
This
parade is coordinated by the Zeta Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha,
the oldest Black fraternity in America, founded in 1906. The 7 men who
founded this organization at Cornell University in New York recognized the
need for a strong bond of Brotherhood among African descendants in this
country. Dr. King was also an Alpha.
Come and join thousands of others and help continue the legacy of Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. on Saturday, January 19th at 10:00 a.m.
